Cartridge units in the FBSA series have a flanged housing to enable quick and easy mounting. These ready-to-mount units are available for shaft diameters ranging from 20 to 60 mm and incorporate SKF single direction angular contact thrust ball bearings. Except for the ground surfaces, the units are surface-treated with a black-oxide finish.

Units with two bearing pairs are also available with the flange at the end of the cartridge (designation suffix A, ). Other bearing arrangements are available on request.
Cartridge units should be bolted to the machine wall and located on the screw drive shaft with an SKF precision lock nut.
